|Miss Faith E Newrick (f)|
Deputy Practice Manager
LLB Law, PGCert Healthcare Leadership & Management (NHS Elizabeth Garrett Anderson programme)
Faith was thrilled to be appointed as Deputy Practice Manager in March 2019, to be able to make a positive impact upon the delivery of excellent Primary healthcare to the population of Worcestershire, back where she grew up. Following a Law degree and particular enjoyment of Medical law, Faith worked both clinically and non-clinically at a large Hospital, before undertaking the National fast-track, intensive NHS Graduate Management Scheme in 2016, specialising in General Management and being trained by the NHS Leadership Academy in Leeds. Faith's background is operational management in large Acute Hospitals, but she has also enjoyed Strategic Management for an NHS Mental Health Trust. From an NHS family, Faith is passionate about all things patient care, with a special interest in Elderly Care and Learning Disabilities, and making sure that those who have to walk through our doors feel as well cared for, and listened to, as possible.
Our friendly Reception team includes Vicki, Karen, Vicky, Julie G, Rosie, Becky J, Zoe, Kirstie, Becky W, Nicola, Sally, Julie T, Lynsey and Ella.
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, registering patients, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
We also have a wonderful team of Practice Administrators covering a huge range of day-to-day Practice business, highly skilled in specialist areas of work. This includes our experienced Medical Secretaries, and members of staff working with the patient IT systems and doing complex healthcare coding! The team: Tonia, Sharon, Paige, Carrie and Julia.
