|Mrs Sabita Thukral (f)|
Health and Wellbeing Officer
Sabita is employed by Spring Gardens in conjunction with another local Practice, and we are lucky to have her working with our patients and us, here at the Practice, two days every week. Sabita is extremely valuable to our patients as she knows Spring Gardens well – for 4 years whilst working for charity Age UK, she visited our Practice once per week to support our patients, before progressing to become our PALS officer. Sabita supports patients with a wealth of local knowledge and experience gained from 9 years working with older people and Carers at Age UK Hereford and Worcestershire. She enjoys all areas of health and wellbeing, is a qualified Holistic Therapist, Reiki and Energy Field Healer, and gained a Diploma in Nutrition. Sabita prides herself on ‘rising to every challenge!’. Previously, she was involved in the management of a Dementia Day Centre, delivering training/support on nutrition and hydration for those with the condition. Sabita finds it so rewarding to support Spring Garden’s patients with nutritional advice, weight loss, managing stress, and identifying Carers and people who may need that little extra support.
