The Glade - Sexual Assault Referral Centre

‘The Glade Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) is a dedicated centre which provides a comprehensiveservice to men, women and children who have been raped or sexually assaulted in the West Mercia area. If an assault is reported to the police, they may offer The Glade’s services are part of their response. Alternatively if you have been a victim and you do not wish to report or are unsure whether you want to involve police you can contact The Glade to discuss your options. The Glade operates a self referral line which is open 365 days a year and is answered by specially trained Crisis Workers. The Glade is commissioned by NHS England and is free and confidential for victims of abuse/assault. There may be occasions where information may need to be shared, however this would be discussed with you ie. If a child or children are at risk of harm. Client’s are not advised to attend The Glade without an appointment. All clients will be treated with dignity and respect.
